Keys to Effective and Enjoyable Board Service: The Value-Enhancing Board
Serving our community by serving on not-for-profit, community boards is important, rewarding work. For board service to be both effective and enjoyable, members must understand their roles, and governance processes need to be well constructed. Kathleen Carlson has had the pleasure of serving on the board of Premier Health as both a board member and currently as chair of the board. She will share some best practices on governance processes including during crises like the Covid-19 pandemic and our evolution to a Value Enhancing Board.
