MEN: Know Your Numbers
Gregory Hopkins, Executive Director of Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton, will present an overview of an advertising campaign developed by Community Health Centers and sponsored by Molina Healthcare, a Medicaid managed care company serving Ohio Medicaid patients. The idea behind the campaign, which features well-known retired athletes from Dayton as spokespeople, is to address the some men’s reluctance to take better care of their personal health. The campaign, titled “Men: Know Your Numbers”, urges men of all ages and races to have regular check-ups with primary care doctor or make regular visits to a Dayton-area health clinic, if they do not have a doctor.
